While in the classroom, Brent maintained an award-winning classroom website called mrcoley.com. An online extension of his physical classroom, the site contained resources for his students, their families, and teachers all over the world. A daily student blog, a student podcast, digital (iPod) flash cards, math review videos, and student artwork were just some of the things available on mrcoley.com. Though he no longer updated it, Brent kept the site up and running for nearly a decade after leaving the classroom, but the cost to keep the site online eventually led to the difficult decision to stop paying for hosting. Many of the resources such as his students' podcast, math review videos, and Literature Circles resources and still available here on BrentColey.com.
