Brent loves to share, plain and simple.


It began way back in 1999 with mrcoley.com, his classroom website. While initially built as an online tool for just his students and their families, Brent soon discovered the site had the ability to become something much more far-reaching. And it did. For over a decade, the global word of mouth spread, and mrcoley.com became a resource for not only Brent's classroom community but educators all over the world. During its time online, thousands of teachers from all 50 states and more than 40 foreign countries visited the site to see what was happening in Mr. Coley's classroom and to utilize resources such math review videos, iPod flash cards, and resources for podcasting with students. 


Brent began speaking in 2009 and has since had the opportunity to support and encourage teachers, administrators, and support staff by delivering keynote addresses, conference presentations, and hands-on workshops at educational conferences and professional development events all over Southern California, Illinois, and Michigan. 


He specializes in blending two critical elements of successful classrooms and schools: technology integration and culture-building.

  • Question #1 - How can educators leverage technology to become more productive, efficient, and better meet the needs of those they serve?
  • Question #2 - How can educators make school a place where students want to be, teachers want to teach, and parents want to send their kids?

What if the first question could help make the second a reality? What if technology could assist in building a positive school culture? It most definitely can, and that's Brent's sweet spot! ​Drawing on his extensive experience as both a classroom teacher and site/district administrator, Brent leverages dynamic storytelling and real-life examples and resources to leave audiences inspired and equipped to use both digital and analog strategies to become better at what they do.

What They'll Remember: Making a Difference Beyond the ABCs and 123s
